On Monday night at Flinders Lane’s new Peruvian venue, Pastuso, a room
packed with hospos, food lovers and wine guzzlers (respectfully) celebrated
Melbourne’s hottest cafes, restaurants and chefs at the 2014 Timeout Melbourne Food
Awards.
Awards included Best Bang for Buck, Best New Restaurant, Best Café and
Restaurant of the Year. Individuals were recognised with Hot Talent Award and a
brand spanking new Chef of the Year Award, plus a People’s Choice Award for
readers to pick their faves.
